Those shades of gray.
It has always been absolutes. For me, it has always been either yea or nay, simple and straightforward. In betweens exist, of course, for who can live a life so finely divided? Then there's this Thing. For it, there will always be this impulse, this need to nit and pick at those shades of gray, to probe and to poke and sometimes fingers bleed and bones ache and hearts break and there are little holes driven into the fabric of it all, and yet still pulling and pushing and stretching, till Gray seems to lose a little Shade or perhaps, gain a little Colour, and then everything goes back to absolutes again.It occurred to me that what was, on all accounts, a means to survive is now a way of life.Labels: Random thought, Rose-tinted glasses
