It suddenly seems that Life can be ended so easily, just the snuffing out a twinkling light. OF COURSE I knew that life is fleeting, that it comes and goes as it pleases, that we have to treasure life and live it to the fullest everyday yadayada but this is just one of the things that you think you know but you actually don't until it really happens, y'know what I mean?
And it scares me how a person could go so quietly. A call in the morning morning, the venue of the funeral, a msg. That's all.

I wonder if Wei and I would be able to go to Topshop and say, "This jacket with the hoodie is so Faruk" or "This print is exactly what Faruk would wear" with a light heart again.
I don't know if you knew, but you formed a really big part of my Tk memories. We were a family, the few of us who were always sitting in the front row 'cos we were all short back then. We made you marry Imad and you became my bapak. We were always singing, always laughing, always noisy, always getting scolded. Always fun.
Wellwellwell, you're certainly no longer the short fart now, but the hair on your arms are still as long as Chelle's and as white as before.
How do you even begin to put together those little fragments of memories? I wanna say, thank you for giving me 2 years of your sunny presence in Tk, and, thank you for being there for Wei through those tough times in APD, and, thank you thank you for being such a good friend, to Wei and to me.
