Its pouring outside, and there's quite a stiff wind blowing. A lovely day to cuddle up in bed, hide under the covers. A perfect day to think. It has never strike me so deep that anyone I hold so dear can, and will be gone, one day, someday. Poof. Gone. Vanish, just like that. I wonder what I'll do without them. I wonder what I'll be without Wei by my side, constantly nagging and scolding and chastising me, teasing, laughing with and at me, pampering me and spoiling me rotten. Loving me. I could make a guess, I suppose, but it honestly isn't that hard. I'll most certainly be lost without Wei, without the silly goose of a boy for me to love and tickle and tease and cuddle and love and irritate and smell and hug and binge and quarrel and share my every moment with. And love, always Love. Just for the record, I don't think I've ever loved anyone so deeply before, and vice versa.So here I am at home, half an hour before I'm scheduled for work, with the rain pelting down and my windows wide open, thanking my lucky stars that you are near me, that you are safe and sound, that I'll get to kiss you and hug you when see you tomorrow night for dinner with people we love, that you're not on any deployment or whatnot overseas in jungles far away or at sea. Those whatnots that are in fact dangerous but made not so, because so many boys have gone through them so many times and turned up safe... save a few. I know I sound selfish and terrible and a horrid girl altogether, but the truth is that life isn't fair, and sometimes it simply scares the shit out of me.
