Its the third week of school, and already I'm being snowed under. I really don't know how I'm going to make it through this semester and score all As and Bs and pull up my GPA by at least a 0.3. Omgomg I want to graduate with honors please please please God. Okay I WILL make it through this sem and I WILL score all As and Bs and I WILL pull up my GPA by at least a 0.25 (haha yes I'm a wussy I know), I will I will I will. Okay yay go me.

Sempre e per sempre(:
I'm now waiting for B2's call to discuss our attendance at tmr's cheerleading preview, so I thought I'll post some long over-due photos.
2nd Anniversary Dinner
Wei and I had our 2nd anniversary dinner after my exams, on the 26th of November. We went to Otto Ristorante, a cozy little place situated in Red Dot Traffic Building. The service was good, the staff really there friendly.(: Oh and the food - AWESOME.
First up - slow cook egg and taleggio fondue. (There was actually another appetizer before this, but sadly no pictures. Heh.) Okay the fondue. Oh gosh the fondue. It was rich and creamy and absolute yum. Ah, my kind of food.(:
Oh and you see the brown flakes on top of the egg? Those are truffles. Delish, but freakingly expensive. We only had a total of about 5grams? of truffle shavings throughout the meal.
Next was supposed to be our pasta and risotto, but the chef is such an adorable sweetheart (he's rather short and round, haha), and he gave us complementary freshwater oysters and scallops that simply Melt. In. Your. Mouth. I'm soo not kidding. They're really the BEST scallops I've ever eaten. Oh YUMSTERS. Unfortunately, we only took photos of the oyster. Here you go.
Then came the pasta and risotto. The pasta was really flat and thin, it was like asian fusion. They both had creamy sauce too. Wei commented that the night's dishes seemingly revolve around cream, but that's because he knows of my love for rich food.(:
After that was real good cod fish with, as usual, creamy, awesome, fantabulous sauce. Seriously to die for.
Before dessert, Paulo the maître d' showed us the truffles up close and personal. Apparently truffles have genders. The ones that are closed up like a knob are females, and the ones that are open are males.
And that was close to about a thousand (over a thousand?) dollars sitting on our table. Ha.

Its 2009!
The last day of 2008 saw me in my very first car accident. It wasn't that serious, really, but it was enough to leave me traumatized and shaking. I'm trying to tell myself it all happened in 2008 and it isn't an omen or whatever, but its quite hard to put at the back of my mind.
Anyway, its the start of another year, and I only hope for better things to come.
New years eve at Wei's was not too bad, despite whatever happened. I'm really, really thankful that my two lovely babies were there at the party to hold and comfort me. I LOVE YOU, BABIES!(:
I am also reminded again how big a part Wei is in my life. I doubt I'll ever stop shaking if he wasn't there to dry my tears, to hug and hold and comfort me. I love you, sweetheart, and I'm ever so grateful and thankful for you.
And to the other sweethearts at the party who tried their best to comfort me and withstood my cursing and swearing, thank you thank you thank you. My new years eve was great because of all of you. Thank you.(:

Alrighty that's all. I have 3 new year resolutions I intend to keep. 2009 has better be a good one.
