I know I'm a spoilt brat and too princessy for my own good, but I just can't help it.
Okay that's a lie.
Anyway, hall 9 orientation was a blast. I'm so so so so so so so super duper glad my freshies are all so enthusiastic and fun-lovin and bonded. They're definintely NOT weird like someone said they were okay! OKAY! You hear me? I repeat, they're not weird!!!!! They are the best freshies any GL can ask for. But then, if they are weird then so be it. Their GLs are weird too! We the Weird People who won best OG rock! Woohooo Oden! GO ODEN GO!! GO FIGHT WIN! *pumps fist into the air* WOOHOO!!
Okay enough of zi high. On a sadder note, Rae Baby left for US already.):):): No more Rae Baby to accompany me, to talk to me, bitch and gossip with me and make me laugh. No more Rae Baby for me to confide in. You know, I so so badly want to tell you please stay, don't go, but that would be much too selfish of me, so I'll tell you to go with all my blessings and well-wishes, to please please please keep safe and have fun and experience all there is to experience in the US. 5 months will pass by quickly, but in the meantime I'll miss you truckloads and shitloads. I love you girl!(:

Lets go Niners!!
Now that the cheer season's come and gone, nights without cheerleading practice really needs to get some used to. Training was long and tiring, but we did have fun in the process, and I'm definitely going to miss all the people and the late supper and HTHT sessions.
Ah wells. Its high time I start focusing on my studies anyway, especially now with French.

Anyhows, life has been pretty fine for me so far, although my right ankle is actually still slightly swollen and my left is starting to ache kinda weirdly. Ah, but I'm really glad that I'm allowed to fly now.(:(:

And then another bites the dust
A few days ago, I, Cyn Ong, sprained my ankle for the first time in my life.
Okay, you can all stop gawking now. There's a first for everything, yer know. But anyway, my sprained ankle is proving to be hindering me from walking, climbing down stairs, bathing and apparently, playing pool properly. My tendency to leave my right foot behind me (I think its because my left leg is my master leg) is also proving to be quite painful and utterly irritating. But what is driving me crazy that my ankle is interfering with my shopping. Ah, and with all that glorious, glorious end-of-year sales!
The furthest shopping mall I can go to by myself is Parkway. Bah.
Alrights the real concern is for the state the cheerleading team is in right now. We have now a total of 3 fliers (or is it flyers?) out of 5 down with two sprained ankles and a bad back. Gosh I really hope my ankle recovers fast. The comp is in about a month's time! Urgh. And, I do miss flying quite abit.):
Now that I'm done going on and on about my ankle, I would like to very proudly announce that Hall 9 is the overall contract bridge champion in the inter-hall games. I would also like to make it known that in the finals we were up against Hall 16, which stole every single one of our former bridge players who had won the same title for Hall 9 the previous 2 years, and we beat them.(:
Okay fine to be honest it was none of my doing. I'm just the bridge i/c and I just find players, arrange and cajole/scold/threaten them into coming for trainings and basically take care of them. I most definitely didn't sit in the arena for almost two full days, playing 64 boards of contract bridge. Gawd, the thought of it makes my head ache.
Still, my face -haha- is still going to be up on the wall, along with the rest of the team. Nyueh nyueh.

Battered.
I'm in a snit.
4 hours of falling and being thrown again and again has worn me down. I feel like I just got knocked down and driven over by a double-decked bus. I'm not ready to give up my holidays for cheerleading just yet, and then there's the problem of having a fudged-up timetable next sem. Speaking of timetables, the schedule for cheerleading pracs are somewhat messed up too. Practices on Friday and Saturday lasts from 8pm to 12 am.
Really, I wanted so much to upload the photos of our anniversary dinner Wei passed me, but you will have to excuse me. My body is threatening to shatter any moment.Labels: Hall life

Guess what.
MY LAPTOP IS INFESTED WITH ANTS AH AHHHRGGGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay was. It was infested with ants, until I stood over my laptop for nearly an hour with a purple feather duster-like thing my roommate has so kindly lent me, just to sweep ants out. It felt like I was playing some stupid arcade game, except the game I remembered playing involved plastic crocodiles that went "ow ow ow" everytime you slam their mouths shut.
So the more I watched the ants climb out of the keyboard to their deaths the more exasperated I got, until something came over me at 11pm and I felt that I must do something and so I swept, magi-cleaned and mopped my whole room. Me, who was never picky about my room's cleanliness, (all problems were solved when my mom gave me her once-used bedroom slippers) cleaning and mopping the floor until 12.30am. Truly, I'm amazed at myself. Ha.
OMGOSH THERE GOES AN ANT!! Okay that's it. This is crazy. Who's laptop gets infested by ants anyway?! Man these ants must really hate me. Maybe I destroyed their nest or sth.
Alrights I'm so sorry this is such a incoherent post. I just feel that I must note this down. Ants. In my laptop. Ha. K cleaning time. Bye.
OH hehh since I'm blogging I might as well add in more exciting stuff. Wei's playing in NTU tmr! Yay so exciting!!(:(: I know you'll proly find it really un-exciting but I don't know why I still find it oh so exciting!!(:(:
